Easy to read, the myths are very well merged together, in a way that it feels like following one amazing story and not a collection of smaller ones (like often happens in books about myths). I personally also love the writing style that is captivating (leaving you wandering "what's next" every time you have to put the book aside) but also humorous and entertaining. Strongly recommended.
Stephen Fry retells the Greek myths in a fascinating and captivating way. The stories are still up-to-date after such a long time. It's especially interesting that the author tells us how many words in our present language derived from Greek myths.

Auch wenn mir die Mythen alle bekannt sind, ich habe sie selten so kurzweilig, spannend und humorvoll gelesen. Großartig! Ich konnte das Buch nicht mehr aus der Hand legen. Es ist bestimmt super, um die Mythen kennenzulernen.
I like the very detailed and accurate retelling of the old myths, which is based on lots of research. But it is also funny. All a wonderful read especially while on vacation in Greece :-).
Have given this as a present twice. It‘s so much fun to read and you‘ll learn so many awesome things...
